When you have failed one of the two portions of the final evaluation :
If you have failed both (technical and teaching) portions of the course you’ll have to take the full course over again after spending time for the improvment and the development of your skills.
If you have passed only one portion you can benefeciate of a retest.
You have until the end of the next season to retake the portion failed. If it is riding, you’ll attend Day 1, and if it is teaching, Day 3. The cost for the re-test is $110.67 plus applicable taxes (126,08$). You will be evaluated only during the retest day. If you do not pass the portion failed within that time, you will have to take the course all over again but will be evaluated only on the portion failed in the previous course.
It is mandatory that the participant takes the appropriate amount of time and practice to get prepared and to improve his riding or teaching skills before attending a retest.
Note: Helmets are mandatory on all CASI courses. All CASI courses are given in either English (E) or French (F) with no bilingual course.
